SUMMER-SPRING COLLECTION 2016 - Alberto Zambelli
MOOD/STYLE The inspiration behind this 2016 Spring/Summer collection by Alberto Zambelli is mainly the photographic work made by Seydou Keïta, in which he skillfully "narrated" the country of Mali between 1943 and 1963.The duality of the black and white contrast creates this depth between volumes, redefining the woman's silhouette. The woman figures represented by the photographer are here transformed into embroideries, harmonious patterns; the tribal dances depicted in the pictures are turned into evening dresses, the frames converted into geometric motifs for overcoat tissues. The tribal necklaces, the archaic jewelry are synthesized and become ornamental lines and then reproduced on knitwear and jacquards.

SHAPES Blazer pajamas e palazzo pants alternated with dresses and trenches (A shape), micro pull-on, skirt-like bermudas, slip dresses and longuette dresses.
FALL-WINTER COLLECTION 2016-2017 Iceberg
MOOD/STYLE The streetstyle Made in Japan, the conceptual design and geometric themes are the key elements working in symbiosis in this new collection for the next seasons of fall and winter by Iceberg.
Arthur Arbesser, creative director of the women style department, draws inspiration freely from the artistic movement of Adolfo Natalini and Cristiano Toraldo di Francia, using the signature square pattern in an almost obsessive way, filling all decorative motifs for curvy silk dresses and patchwork for the cardigans. An inspired idea of dressing without following strict style rules, is it perhaps a reference to the "Ir girls" or those "Instagram stars"?

FALL-WINTER COLLECTION 2016-2017 Vivetta
MOOD/STYLE Erte, or Romain de Tirtoff, famed illustrator, painter and scene designer based in Paris in the 20s and 30s, is the core idea and starting point to this line of fashion articles by Vivetta Ponti.
The designer, really congenial to the Surrealism artistic movement, creates a collage in which dreams and reality, poetry and illustration find the right place to be fit in obtaining an harmonious balance.
The Japanese philosophy and Romanticism, reinterpreted in a Deco form by the illustrator, is the main motif behind the military theme, while other applications and embroideries play with a trompe-l'œil effect: this fashion show is truly treat to all of us dreamers.
